The Core Axiom
The ability to speak is an eternal attribute of the Creator, but the Speech itself is a creation. Just as the ability to create is eternal but the creations are not, God’s specific Word (The Quran) is a manifestation of His eternal Knowledge into the realm of created Time.
The Oneness of God (Tawhid): If the Quran were eternal alongside God, there would be two eternal entities. This breaks the idea that only God is the One, the First, and the Last without beginning. By saying that it is created, you protect that nothing is on the same level as the Creator. The argument of Adam and the command “Be” (Kun): You have pointed out that God created Adam with His word (saying “Be”). If God’s word addressed to creation were eternal in nature, then Adam would also have to be eternal, which is absurd. The command occurs at a given moment for creation to begin to exist. IF IT IS COUNTERARGUED THAT THE WORD AND THE COMMAND ARE ETERNAL, NOT CREATED, BUT THAT TIME PASSES UNTIL IT IS CARRIED OUT, THEN THERE WAS A TIME WHEN GOD GAVE A COMMAND AND THAT COMMAND WAS NOT OBEYED, WHICH IS BLASPHEMOUS, time is created. If the Quran is the word of God and contains the command “Be” addressed to Adam, then that word is intrinsically linked to an event that occurs within time. A word that regulates the temporal cannot be external to temporality; it must be the bridge that God created to enter into relationship with time. Previous non-existence (Nothingness): Quoting the Quran, you mention that before we were born, “we were dead” or we were nothing. If our ‘command’ to exist were eternal in the sense that traditionalists say, we would never have been “nothing.” Therefore, the word that gives us life has a beginning in relation to us. The contradiction of Abrogation (Naskh): You argue that those who believe that the Quran is eternal but at the same time accept abrogation are guilty of a lack of logic. If one verse can be replaced by another due to circumstances, it means that the Quran responds to the passage of time and human situations, which shows that it is a created process and not something static and eternal. The Quran does not exhaust the Word of God: You assert that it is a mistake of human ego to think that the Quran is “all” of God’s word. It is a specific and limited manifestation addressed to human beings. God has infinite words, and the Quran is the tool He created specifically to guide us in our temporal existence. Timelessness vs. Eternity: You make a fine distinction: the Quran may be timeless in God’s knowledge (outside of human time), but it becomes a creation the moment it is expressed in language, in a book, and in a story so that we can understand it. For me, even though His attribute of speech is eternal, His word is not, just as His attribute of creation is eternal and His creations are not. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE INTERNAL ABROGATION OF THE QURAN, BUT I USE IT AS AN ARGUMENT.
WHAT AM ARGUING IS THAT GOD SPEEECH IS 100% A CREATION BUT JUST AS GOD ABILITY TO CREATE IS ETERNAL BUT HIS CREATIONS ARENT QURAN IS JUST AS GODS ABILITY TO SPEEECH IS ETERNAL HIS SPECIFIC SPEEECH ISNT, god speech is created 100% BUT IT ALWAYS EXISTED WITHIN GODS KNOWLEDGE BUT WE ALL DID
SPEECH IS ONLY A MANIFESTATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND THAT KNOWLEGE IS ETERNAL WITHIN GOD IS INSEPARABLE
all knowledge isnt separate that all knowledge is god, for example god is all knowing all seeing, all capable…, that literally means god but its not separable, just like if we say god is all knowing but we only that his all knowing about videogames that is not separable for example quran gods calls him self al raheem which means thats who god is
